That cooler environment, which you can feel as you snake up the hill from Adelaide, helps the wines to develop subtle aromatics as well as a textural richness that is found in the best examples of the variety around the world. This is an elegant Adelaide Hills gris thanks to its combination of pretty pear, apple and floral fruits aromas followed by a juicy palate with fresh acidity but also some creaminess on the palate. It’s well pitched with the upfront drinkability to drink well on its own but also has that texture for matching with quiche or spicy seafood.
