An appealing example of this variety. The colour has a pale onion blush, which you often get with Pinot Grigio — but don’t let that put you off. The nose is typically appley with a spicy pear character. The palate is both textured and crunchy, with vibrant acidity sustaining the finish. Quite an impressive wine that lifts the variety well above where it often sits in Australian expressions.
