Claymore Nirvana Reserve Shiraz 2022

Share

Edging up in ripeness, this Reserve style is unashamedly full bodied, rich and oaky. The fruit spectrum is dark berry and plum, matched by a sweet/bitter chocolate feel – a rum and raisin vibe, if you will. No argument about its weight with a structural heft and grip in its tannin delivery, oak also reverbing through the palate to the finish – not surprising given its more than 18 months maturation in new French oak. Big, bold and traditional Shiraz – if that’s to your liking, you’ll love this long time.
