Marnong Heart Single Vineyard Pinot Noir 2025

This site sits at the centre vineyard of the estate. This is quite the deeply pigmented Pinot Noir with aromas of Bing cherries, black raspberries and Davidson Plum jam. There is a savoury note of chinese black bean, dark gravelly soils and blossoming redcurrant that opens in the mid palate. This is a glossy character to the texture, but not but not from oak influence but more a result of its luscious mouth feel, woven fine acidity and plush fruit weight. A sultry wine with a satisfying richness and presence. This would be ideal with a maple glazed bacon sandwich, double stacked. Drink now or cellar for 2-3 years.
