A youthful, four-year-old Teroldego from North-East Italy with everything in place for good drinking right now, mixing the lightly savoury with the dark fruited. It has been said that Teroldego is a red grape that everyone likes. It certainly boasts plenty of personality and flavour and, in this instance, it also comes at one smart price. Proves itself to be a grape worthy of being explored with its serious dark blue-purple hues, a rich array of aromas and a lively freshness of delivery on the palate. Dark cherry, plum and raspberry fruits and herbs are joined by an earthy, autumnal leafiness, liquorice and dusty cocoa. Light savoury tannins and fresh texture complete this very drinkable Italian picture.
