Mazi Grenache Rosé 2021

Share

Cracking value here and a rosé with plenty of personality. There is a bit of colour – medium on the onion pink spectrum – before launching into a fuller Southern Rhone style rather than the more delicate Provence kind of wine. There are generous white strawberry and dried herb aromas with some savoury earthy tones sitting just behind. Then on the palate this wine really delivers with lovely brightness, freshness, even a floral tinge to fuller-bodied red fruits before tightening up on a punchy palate thanks to zesty acidity before finishing very long and dry. Did I say super value, and epic Summer drinking.
