Riposte The Foil Sauvignon Blanc 2025

Share

One of the first 2025 vintage Sauvignon’s off the rank and it’s one vibrant, herbaceous dose of savvy pyrazines. Snow pea tendril, fresh pea shoots, grassy, green apple, citrus, lemongrass and honeysuckle aromas. It was a vintage that suited Adelaide Hills Sauvignon Blanc (among other varieties), and certainly brought some pronounced, brisk acidity to this style, adding precision and brightness to the palate. While there is little in the way of texture now, it is slowly developing.  In the meantime, grapefruit, quince and crunchy, tart lemon pith flavours weave their way through green herbs and gooseberry across a taut, linear palate.
