Mezzacorona Rose 2018

Share

This is a very different take on European Rose, from near the Dolomites in Northern Italy, in the region of Trentino-Alto Adige. Made from the local Lagrein grape, it’s pretty and shy but also quite full-bodied making for a food friendly style.

It has very pure raspberry aromas with a slight edge of green herbs and spice. It’s then dry and textural in the mouth, with multiple layers of fruit and then has an elegant and very long finish. A great European alternative to the wines from the South of France.
