There are times that call for a big mouthful of red wine, and in this part of the world that often means Barossa Valley Shiraz. Here we have a crowdpleaser that is deeply coloured, bold, juicy and delivers lashings of tarry, blackberry fruits with some spicy oak. It is then quite dry on the palate with layers of sweet fruit that fill the plump palate which has a lingering finish. There is also a nice touch of Barossan baked earth fruit complexity that makes it almost impossible to stop after a single glass.
