This wine comes from one of only a handful of Cortese plots in Australia, its home
being the Piemonte region of northern Italy. This was a surprising and thoroughly
rewarding wine, with an alluring nose of peach, lemon and grapefruit alongside a
touch of talc and some fresh honeysuckle. Like the Chardonnay, it has a very salty
palate so it’s just brilliant with food.
