Fits snuggling into the modern idiom of Grenache in Australia. It’s sort of been allowed to happen in the winery after hand picking. Some whole bunch influence and then into open fermenters with indigenous yeasts and no sulphur or acid additions. The oak is well managed with older French puncheons used. It has lifted red rose petal aromas with that distinctive freshly turned damp earth bringing a rustic charm followed by a lovely medium weight palate. Super wine.
