Bec Hardy BSR Lot 94 Syrah 2024

Fruit is from Block 3, an east facing slope in Blewitt Springs. A heady wine filled with spice and purple fruits. Plum skin, mulberries and bilberries. Some Acai and rye seed spice. There is a faint creeping ivy or nettle note that hovers throughout and some savoury nigella seed. Ample lift from acidity and some cream mid palate tannins. Very pleasurable and inky with a plushness that resonates throughout. Drink now or cellar for 2-4 years further. This would shine with a creamy mushroom sauce poured over a sirloin.
