Neat and lively example of a regional red wine star, it fairly jumps out of the glass with energy and life. This is Grenache without the artefact, varietally-precise. Has a fruit integrity that sings in ripe, fresh red berries, cherries, liquorice block, plum, spice and lifted florals. Fine, lively tannins complete the juicy, tasty package, and although it has potential for further ageing, it offers a strong argument for pouring a glass right now. The difficult 2023 vintage clearly suited this little chap.
