Babo Langhe Nebbiolo 2022

Share

Classical aromas of dried rose, dark cherry, cherry cola, sliced fennel and subtle celery root sit restrained in the glass, with hints of cinnamon quill in the background. Aromatically, it is poised and elegant, showing a level of class that belies its price. The palate is cool, lifted and mineral in feel, delivering flavours of blood orange, cherry, pressed rose, subtle tar and brown spice. It glides through the mouth with both elegance and intensity before being wrapped in firm yet fine, powdery tannins and fresh acidity through a finish of solid length. This is impressive for its poise, drinkability and overall value at $43 retail. Hats off to the Babo crew.
