Marchand & Burch Rosé 2025

Share

Here we have a blend of Shiraz, Pinot Noir and Grenache from multiple WA regions. Watermelon pink in colour. Notes of strawberry coulis, musk, raspberry frogs, peach skin and redcurrant leap from the glass with a subtle dusting of brown spice around the edges. There’s some solid red-berry bite to the palate – strawberry compote, raspberry frogs, cranberry. Cinnamon spice adds appeal, and there’s a good lick of bitterness through the finish thanks to some fairly firm, powdery tannins. While there’s freshness and lift in the mix, there’s also some intensity and structure, making this a “food rosé” to my mind.
