The Lane Vineyard Shiraz 2025

Share

Such an elegant, stylish wine from the Adelaide Hills from a season that was incredibly dry and early, with the cooler climes of the Adelaide Hills managing to avoid much of the heat stress. It’s a soft and supple, plush Shiraz that, after basket pressing, had 18 months in oak, most of which was old, but just a lift of spicy 12% new oak. The use of a small percentage of whole bunches has certainly contributed to its poise and structure, adding a subtle sage-like note. Textured, flavoursome, an impressive wine for drinking over the medium term.
