Loved this wine which is the best value out of the current Pt. Leo range and is a beautifully elegant and restrained style with oak and fruit in perfect harmony. It starts off a little shy and then slowly builds layer after layer of nectarine and citrus fruits plus oatmeal scented oak with even a touch of continental delicatessen thrown it. It’s then dry and creamy but kept in shape by a fine acid line with roasted cashew flavours coming through on a long, supple finish. Lovely wine to enjoy over the next five years with Chinese-style baked whole Snapper.
