Similar winemaking to the Shining Rock Shiraz, however, this is a more generous style with more notable oak influence that will have followers. The cooling influence of Mt Benson tames the ripe nature though. Oak spice, cola spice, oak dust, chocolate top notes mingle with ripe plum, baked strawberry and cherry. Medium bodied palate with lacy tannins and broad acidity. There is a good punch on flavours here and moderate length.
