Oliver’s Taranga Vermentino 2021

At home in Tuscany and Sardinia, the Vermentino grape is another Italian import making some big fans here. If you have to compare it to another grape, think Riesling with its noted citrus and brisk acidity. Pretty aromatics here of white flowers and apple blossom mix with grapefruit and sea spray notes. Has a relaxed, beachy feel with juicy citrus, grapefruit and lemony saline,
freshness aplenty. Crunchy, punchy acidity is fresh and vibrant. It’s quite the energised youngster.
