Wynns V&A Lane Cabernet Shiraz 2024

This is a thoroughly beautiful wine and again, like the V&A shiraz, picked a little earlier to highlight the vibrancy and energy of these two varieties when they are linked. Unlike the straight Shiraz, this one also gets some new oak and puncheons, which it handles with ease. The colour is quite deep. And once again, the lifted red fruits of red cherry and cranberry are well to the fore. There’s a spicy light chocolate influence bringing another dimension to the wine. Perfectly integrated and charmingly poised, this is the most stylish and expressive example of this combination in this particular style.
