I will first draw your attention to the price tag of sub $25, the second to the reputation of the Adelaide Hills and their Chardonnay affiliation. Next I’ll say this is a powdery and perfumed number with talc and fresh linen, yellow grapefruit and lemon tea. A wealth of drawling natural acidity and some supportive use of creamy oak. Almond flour and the oatmeal creaminess plays nicely to the finish. If you are after a moderately oaked and citrus fruited Chardonnay for everyday enjoyment, this is a ripper. Drink now with bread sticks in hummus.
