Peter Lehmann Margaret Semillon 2017

Share

Named after Peter Lehmann’s wife and business partner, Margaret, and released with 5 year’s bottle age. Aromas of buttered toast, honey, candied lemon peel, citrus preserves and cracked wheat sit within a restrained aromatic profile with great complexity and poise. The palate is incredibly gratifying and inviting, with its melding of honeysuckle, preserved lemon, pastry dough and bitter citrus oil all wrapped up in a creamy, pillowy texture. Waves of leesy notes meld with bitter citrus through a long finish. This is an excellent Semillon, with complexity, balance and downright deliciousness.
