Poacher’s Ridge Single Estate Riesling 2022

Share

This is an interesting, almost old world Riesling that uses barrel fermentation, a technique used by very few Australian winemakers with this variety. But it works so well, bringing a degree of textural feel to the palate. The natural purity and minerality of the fruit still emerges but that slightly smoky background adds another dimension. Lime and lemon zip provide a real focus here that carries through to a long finish.
