Ponting 257 Tasmanian Pinot Noir 2021

Share

We are certainly getting a bit more serious here as we move up the Ponting Pinot chain. This single vineyard wine carries beautiful subtlety with whole bunch fruit playing an important part. It starts a little wild with backyard strawberries, fruits of the forrest and fresh earth aromas topped by layers of floral spice. There is a real elegance then with reserved, compact and detailed fruit flavours entwined with flowing, fine tannins through to an ethereal finish. It’s already delicious but will get better in bottle.
