From a single block of vines on the Mornington Peninsula, this is a terrific Chardonnay. Compare the price to similar quality from offshore and this is simply stunning value. Gleaming yellow/green, it has a gorgeous nose with lovely ripe stonefruits, notably peaches. There is also hazelnuts, white florals and very well integrated oak, a seductively supple texture and impressive length with explosive flavours throughout. It will drink beautifully over the next four to five years – love it.
