Provenance Macedon Chardonnay 2022

The fruit of this Chardonnay comes from the deep volcanic soils on the side of Mount Macedon, a very magical place indeed. Fleshy yellow peaches, pineapple, guava, pink grapefruit, and quince. It’s a dual Chardonnay: fleshy and showy yet crisp and vibrant. The palate confirms the above description: tangy, extracted but with sophistication without resulting in an overly weighty, buttery Chardonnay rather more on the raw nuts side. The length reverberates like a ray of sunshine on the water’s surface.
