Riversdale Estate Abel Pinot Noir 2023

Share

The Abel clone, smuggled from a particularly significant vineyard in Burgundy is distinctive both in the vineyard and in the glass. Potent in its deep balsamic notes, prune plums and beetroot earthiness. Lingonberry, Acai, and dark chocolate. Seductive, mysterious, and enticing. The flavour here is compact and deep, with succulent acidity and firm, dry and velvety tannins. An ambery note on the finish, it’s a complete wine that over delivers. Serve with a blackened chargrilled steak with red wine jus. Will cellar 3-5 years.
