Ross Hill Wines LT Chardonnay 2019

Pale colour and an impressive, youthful Chardonnay here with the winemaker working very hard to extract plenty of character and personality but still retaining that Orange class with powerful melon and pear fruits, some funky leesy influences and well judged oak giving a classic cool climate look and feel. The palate shows a good blend of a creamy texture and taut acidity – savoury nougat and spicy flavours with a tight core of fruit driven to a long finish by impressive acidity. Delicious now and over the next 7 or 8 years.
