There are layers of luscious jam, red currants and even tar aromas with fabulous generosity of fruit – it’s almost too much but manages to keep the balance just right. That rich and vibrant fruit continues onto the palate with a viscous, fleshy, low acid style supported by supple, open knit tannins and sweet coconut oak. It’s concentrated, long and no doubt a massive crowd pleaser for fans of big Aussie reds.
