Without a doubt, the Seppelt Show Sparkling Shiraz has to be one of Australia’s best sparkling wines, let alone one of the best sparkling Shirazes. Only made in exceptional vintages, and this is an exceptional wine, illustrating just perfectly why sparkling red has become synonymous with Australia. The nose is stunning, displaying heaps of complexity, such as stewed red and black fruits, chocolate, spice, earth, smoke and prune. The palate is sumptuous, with long length and fine, fully integrated tannins, with the character of cocoa powder being ever-present as you drink. Even at the price, it shows superb value for money as each glass is a feast for the senses.
