Sourced from Sidewood Estate’s central Hills district vineyard in Oakbank, harvested and vinified as traditional wine before undergoing alcohol extraction via spinning cone technology. Aromas are in the apple and lemon zone, all very familiar in the aromatic white genre, however tasting is where we step into the new zero alcohol world, which is unlike anything you will have experienced in a normal alcoholised wine. Think lemon and grapefruit sorbet – a palate attack of wild fruit sweetness and flavours jousting for attention with an explosion of acidity. It’s mouth-watering on speed dial, with a lingering citric note remaining for quite some time. Score based on zero-alcohol wine parameters.
