The Silverstream Chardonnay is a wine very much of its place and has the elegance and subtlety you would expect from one of the coolest wine regions in Australia, thanks to its location close to the Great Southern Ocean.
It is immediately attractive with its core of subtle citrus and melon fruits supported by subtly, spicy oak and some savoury praline barrel ferment complexity. It is dry and mid weight with a backbone of firm acidity that that supports a lingering and crisp finish. It is at peak now and is well suited to lemon chicken over the next 2 to 3 years.
