Sweetwater Wines Semillon 2023

A very lemon citrus dominant wine with lemon leaf, zest and sprays of juice. Behind that you’ll also find some winter melon, Jonathan apple skin and sage leaf. There is a through line of acidity that has melted into the wine allowing for cashew butter creaminess and subtle white tea pithy character. This is showing well now and will have another 5-8 years further. Drink now though for that svelte lemon curd texture that would play well with buttery white fish or better yet battered fish and chips.
