Sweetwater Wines Shiraz 2022

Share

A sultry number with chocolate wrapped licorice, plum skin and boysenberries. A hint of lavender and lilac blossoms peeks their pretty head through with some bayleaf, black pepper and clove stud spice. The palate gives you even more with some Nyon olive, thyme and woodsy herbs. Powdery tannins and a good jolt of acidity to keep things fresh and moreish. Beautifully balanced and with a strong vote of confidence from well handled and yet artfully placed oak maturation. This will go on quite the journey over time, drinking well now and again at say 6 years and earthy at 8-10 years. Buy a 6 pack to be sure. Serve with lamb ribs.
