This elegant and subtle Shiraz Viognier expression has lots of hidden corners that slowly emerge with time in the glass. There is a base of sweet blackberry fruits lifted by earthy, white pepper and old leather aromas, with Viognier adding an enjoyable touch of fruit sweetness. A hearty and mouth filling palate follows showing impactful brooding dark fruits with stony minerality adding an attractive rustic edge. It’s compact and measured but delivers good complexity and length for the price.
