Tamar Ridge Single Block Pinot Noir 2020

Share

The fruit for this wine comes from a single block on Tamar Ridge’s Karena vineyard which is planted to the Pinot Noir clone MV6; known for its dark fruits and structure. Cherries and raspberries erupt from the glass powered by deeper notes of clove-studded oranges and cinnamon. On the palate it’s so silky. It glides seamlessly in your mouth delivering fruit and spice to every taste bud – every single one! There is structural tannin but it’s wrapped in rose petals and fresh, perfectly ripe, red currants. Time in the glass develops earthy, roasted plums and the sweet/savoury spice of toasted fennel seeds.
