Terramoré Coonawarra Shiraz 2020

When people talk of Coonawarra they generally think of Cabernet but many forget one of the greatest wines ever from Coonawarra was the first Wynns Michael Shiraz made back in 1955. So ignore Coonawarra Shiraz at your own peril. This is a great value option with quite a deep ruby colour before showing a powerful core of blackberry and mulberry fruits with a nice savoury touch of black olives. It’s then dry and juicy, with layers of peppery and dark berry flavours showing attractive concentration and length. It certainly kicks some goals and will drink well over the medium term.
