Tim Smith M.G.S 2022

Share

Holy terroir batman! The 2022 twist on a GSM blend from Tim Smith emits distinct freshpotting soil, granite and black cherry skin. Mourvèdre is king here showing its rustic nature in pure black peppercorn, smoked salt and pastrami. It’s glorious in its chastity of fruit, restraint of oak and slinky palate weight. For a winemaker whose fingerprint is on the label you see a lack of winemaker fiddling and more of the site the grapes are grown and savvy timing of picking. Delicious wine and stylish as all hell. Drink with peppercorn studded salami in handfuls.
