Tyrrell’s Rufus Stone Heathcote Shiraz 2019

This vineyard was purchased in 1994 and this is a commemorative 25 year release. Concentrated, inky and full bodied with rich ripe black fruits plus exotic spices, and a nice foil to their classic Hunter Shiraz. It is mouthfilling with a silky rounded velvety texture that is held together with savoury ripe tannins and spicy cedar serving to counterbalance the fruit richness. This wine punches well above its price point, and really is unbelievable value for money.
