Made entirely from Shiraz fruit. A delicate cherry blossom pink hue in the glass. The wine opens with donut peach skin, pomegranate hull and scoops of strawberry ice cream. There is a depth to the floral and red fruited fragrance, that is demonstrating that this wine was made with intention. Fleshy orchard fruit continues to open on the palate with macaron almond cookies. This doesn’t finish curt and sour like some pink wines do, instead it’s got some muscle to it, deliberate Shiraz flavour. It finishes dry and succulent. Drinking very well now and would be a fitting wine for scallop and chorizo butter.
