Water Wheel 5 Rounds Baringhup Shiraz 2023

Share

5 Rounds? Makes sense when you learn that it refers to four years of challenging vintage conditions and  life on the land for the winemakers, but they are “baring up” and back on top. This Shiraz speaks of its home at Bridgewater-on-Loddon –  of gum leaves, Aussie bush and earth  aromas with dark fruits dressed in chocolate and plenty  of oak spice. Not shy in the least with oak to the fore and an inherent richness of dark berry fruits plays across the warm textural palate with eucalyptus, earth, tar, leather, coconut and spice. It’s ready for the next barbecue or meaty casserole.
