Welland Barossa Shiraz 2020

Share

This well made, bright and user-friendly Shiraz illustrates how the Barossa is as equally adept at making delicious early drinking crowd pleasers as it is bold, ageworthy styles. This opens up with a riot of sweet fruits including chocolate covered blackberry, mulberry and cherry fruits with gentle earthy undertones. It is then supple and mid-weight with a burst of fresh acidity giving upfront impact and juiciness to a rich core dark fruits before finishing with plush, silky tannins. Delicious now but don’t be shy to put a case away for three to five years.
