For me, this is the pick of the Sakura range. Organic Shiraz from the Central Ranges in New South Wales, the colour is a gleaming magenta. The nose gives us notes of chocolate, mocha, cold tea, charcuterie, blackberries, florals, boysenberries and spices. A lifted style which is seamless in structure, through to very fine and sleek tannins, offering a line of bright acidity. The wine is well balanced throughout and there is good length. A wine for enjoying anytime over the next six to eight years.
