Mount Langi Ghiran was an earth shaker in the rise of Australian Shiraz and changed the way that the world thought about and drank local wines made from this variety. The 2018 Wine Collective Shiraz boasts olive tapenade, blackberry and dried thyme. The perfect ripeness of fruit sits in the mid palate with an ethereal, seductive mouth feel. A melange of savoury dried leather and spice are also on show with bright red and black fruit. If you love cool climate wines this could and should be your new go to Shiraz. Korean marinated pork loin with kimchi matched with this wine would definitely win some friends.
