Xanadu Stevens Road Chardonnay 2024

Share

If you like tension and linear, lightning-like acidity that leaves you invigorated and salty – then I would like to present the 2024 Stevens Road Chardonnay. Tight and tensioned, it tastes of grapefruit juice, lemon pith, crushed seashells and pomelo. In the mouth, it has tremendous tension, texture and detail. All helped along by barrel fermentation, natural yeasts and zero malolactic conversion. All that power and framework propel you towards a long finish wrapped in mandarin pith. It feels like a labour of love and madness – and it will go very nicely with prawns.
