A deep and dark maroon colour, the nose gives us a mix of red and black fruits, olives, cloves, coffee grinds, chocolate, cocoa powder and even some hints of cold tea. Good concentration throughout with a soft texture and medium length. The palate sees more chocolate notes emerge with lovely soft tannins to tie things together. Enjoy this any time over the next five to six years. This would make a brilliant value Friday-night-in-front-of-the-footy wine or for your next barbecue with friends, where you just want a decent wine to enjoy without having to overthink it.
