Ampersand Chardonnay 2024

A cracking Chardonnay from the Pemberton region, the colour here is a straw gold. The nose reveals attractive stone fruit notes with peaches, nectarines, lemon curd, ginger, florals, a touch of citrus and gentle oak integration, deftly handled. There is good intensity, direction and coiled power here, with a lingering finish. The juicy texture adds to the appeal. It should provide immense pleasure over the next four to six years.
