The power and concentrated opulence of McLaren Vale is evident immediately. The nose is a mass of liqueur black fruits, chocolate and blackberry with a rich dark plum foundation. The palate is dense and deep with a savoury thread complementing the sweet ripe dark fruit. Layered and complex with a firm thread of fine tannin and plenty of oak to harness and control through to a focused finish.
