Angullong Fossil Hill Chardonnay 2022

This well made cooler climate style from Orange has a real Macon feel to it. It is not packed full of fruit but delivers good energy, brightness and drinkability. It delivers pristine aromas of fine citrus, florals and chalk with almond meal complexity and subtle oak. Then elegantly weighted with zesty acidity to back layers of brown pear and citrussy flavour. Balance is impressive which remains in place over a lingering, silky finish.
