The 2024 Basket Range Estate Pinot Noir is reserved although with good typicity as it opens up with cherry compote and red earth aromas lifted by a nice touch of dried herbs. A savoury and supple palate follows, gentle with strong earthy tones and a meaty lining that holds through to a soft finish. Approachable now but with potential to build in bottle.
